SHE features female figurative works by American master painter Quang Ho, nationally recognized artists Dan Beck, Diane Eugster, and Holly Irwin, as well as Charleston's own Kate Long Stevenson and Anna Sims King.
Some of the works are representational, others more abstract interpretations of the female form. No matter the style, the subjects are women who, for some reason or other, drew the artists in. In turn, the artists hope viewers feel a similar connection to the subject (perhaps she'll remind a viewer of an old friend; perhaps the viewer will see a little bit of herself in the subject). We are reminded that female beauty comes in many different shapes, forms, and colors.
