Spanish painter Carlos San Millán's interior paintings and landscapes invite us into a dream world, where untidy corners and overgrown gardens feel familiar in an enchanting (perhaps even a little haunting) way; a siren song.  

Says San Millán, "When I decide to paint a subject I am never thinking about composition, light or color relationships. The only thing I'm interested in at that point is finding a way to convey through painting the same emotions that are evoked in me. Later, at the moment of execution, the real challenge lies in preventing the technical approach from distorting the emotional content, to avoid knowledge and experience  concealing the true and simple nature of that primary voice."
