"Color Bomb is is a reflection of my conscious efforts to create joy within myself. Over the past few months, feeling joy hasn’t always been easy for me; many of us have felt that struggle. I don’t paint how I want to paint when negativity lingers, so I approached the easel with a voice on my shoulder, coaching me though ways to connect with inner joy. To push aside the negative, I’d close my eyes and envision beauty. Beauty is a fast lane to happiness for me, and in my mind it's prisms of color. The neutral colors in these pieces create buoyancy in what would otherwise be delirium caused by an explosion of colors."
