WILD. FLOWERS.: Group Exhibition
June 5 - 26
Opening celebration: Friday, June 5, 5-8pm
Featuring works by Mac Ball, Anne Blair Brown, Diane Eugster, Kyle Ma, Carrie Beth Waghorn, Susan Altman, and Andrew Portwood, the exhibition invites artists to explore the layered meanings of “wild,” “flowers,” and “wildflowers.” The resulting collection moves between interpretations of landscapes, organic wild forms, and florals, offering a range of perspectives that feel both expressive and deeply rooted in the natural world.
“For this show, the artist can take inspiration from the word ‘wild,’ ‘flower,’ or ‘wildflower,’” says Katie Geer, Director and Co-Owner. “This is an homage to the state of being wild, wildflowers, or florals in general.”
Each piece offers its own understanding of what it means to be wild, whether through gesture, color, subject matter, or composition. Through unique approaches in subject and style between seven Meyer Vogl artists, Wild. Flowers. reflects the gallery’s ethos of building community through individual interpretations.
